About Me
Hi, I’m Peter, a wedding photographer based in Wiltshire. On this page, you’ll learn more about me, my journey, creative background, and approach to capturing weddings naturally and authentically. Photography isn’t just my job; it’s my passion, and I focus on telling genuine, timeless stories through my images.
My Journey as a Wedding Photographer
Before working full time as a Wedding Photographer, I built my creative career as a graphic artist and illustrator. Because of this, I developed a strong understanding of composition, colour, and visual storytelling. Over time, this creative foundation shaped my photography style, helping me create images that feel both emotional and timeless. Moreover, I approach every wedding with intention, focusing on moments rather than staged poses. As a result, my work has received awards, great reviews, and has been featured in publications such as Bride and West Weddings.
Life, Music, and Creative Inspiration
Alongside photography, music plays an important role in my life. I write and perform original songs and have been involved in bands for many years. Consequently, music influences how I photograph weddings, especially when it comes to timing, rhythm, and emotion. When I’m not photographing weddings, I enjoy exploring the countryside, finding inspiration in nature, and slowing things down. Afterwards, I often unwind with a good documentary and a glass of red wine.
Why I Love Being a Wedding Photographer
Ultimately, weddings bring together connection, celebration, and unforgettable moments in one day. Therefore, I feel incredibly privileged to work in this industry, documenting stories that couples will treasure for years. My goal is to create relaxed, honest images that reflect how your wedding truly felt. In this way, your photographs become meaningful memories rather than just pictures. These photographs allow you to relive the atmosphere, relationships, and emotion every time you revisit them together.
