One of the great things about these photographs is that they never feel like a formal interruption to the celebrations. It gives couples a chance to step away together for a few quiet moments, enjoy being newlyweds and then return to spend the rest of the evening with their family and friends.

Kingsettle Stud has plenty of character and beautiful areas that can be used whatever the weather brings. If you’re happy to step outside for a few minutes, a pair of comfortable shoes and a white, cream or transparent umbrella can be really useful. The most important thing is not to let the forecast distract you from enjoying your day. Your happiness and connection with each other will always be the most important part of your photographs.

Every wedding is different, which is why I always work with my couples before the day to create a photography timeline that suits their plans.

Whether you’re getting ready at the Coach House, the Lapwing or Bustard huts or nearby, allowing plenty of time helps everyone start the day feeling relaxed rather than rushed.

The excitement, anticipation and interactions between family and friends during these early moments are all part of your wedding story, and capturing these details helps create a complete collection of photographs that tells the story from beginning to end.

If guests are travelling from further afield, considering local accommodation can also help everyone enjoy the day without worrying about long journeys afterwards.
