Why I Love Wedding Photography

Some of the most meaningful photographs are the moments couples don’t always see for themselves.

A glance between two people, a parent watching their daughter walk down the aisle, friends laughing together or a quiet moment away from the celebrations can all become part of the story. These are often the photographs that become more meaningful as the years pass.

Documentary wedding photography is what inspires me most. It captures emotion in a way that feels timeless and personal.

Every wedding is different, and every story unfolds in its own way. Throughout the day, I watch how people interact and respond to one another, allowing me to capture fleeting moments that might otherwise be missed.

A Relaxed and Unobtrusive Photography Approach

An important part of my role is allowing you and your guests to relax and enjoy the day without constantly feeling that a camera is pointed at you.

I work quietly and unobtrusively, blending into the background wherever possible. As people become comfortable with me being there, they naturally stop noticing the camera, allowing genuine moments and emotions to come through in the photographs.

Alongside this documentary approach, I also create relaxed portraits of the couple, using natural light and beautiful locations without making the photographs feel overly posed.
