Hi, I’m Peter, a professional photographer based in Swindon, Wiltshire, offering relaxed one-to-one training in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
If you’ve started taking photographs but feel unsure about what to do with them afterwards, I can help you understand the editing process and get more from the photographs you’ve taken.
Perhaps you’re wondering how photographers create those polished images, or maybe you simply want to feel more confident using Lightroom and Photoshop.
My training is practical, easy-going and tailored around you. You don’t need to be an expert or have a detailed understanding of editing before you start.
I’ve been teaching photography for six years and understand that editing software can seem complicated when you first open it. My aim is to explain things clearly and without unnecessary technical jargon, so you understand not just what to do, but why you’re doing it.
What You Will Learn
Your training will be tailored around your experience, the software you use and the type of photographs you want to edit.
Depending on what you’d like to achieve, we can cover:
- Importing and organising your photographs
- Editing multiple photographs efficiently
- Understanding Lightroom and Photoshop tools
- Adjusting exposure, colour, contrast and tone
- Selecting the right tools for different editing tasks
- Improving and enhancing your photographs
- Exporting photographs for print, web and social media
- Developing a more consistent editing style
If there are particular photographs or editing problems you’d like help with, we can work through them together during your session.
Why My Courses Are Focused
I’ve found that people learn best when training is focused and practical. Trying to cover too much in one session can become overwhelming, making it harder to remember what you’ve learned.
That’s why I offer different course lengths depending on how much you want to cover. Shorter sessions are ideal for learning specific skills, while the longer courses give us more time to explore Lightroom and Photoshop in greater depth.

Adobe Training at My Studio
My one-to-one Lightroom and Photoshop courses are held at my studio in Swindon.
The advantage of one-to-one training is that the session is completely focused on you. We can work with your own photographs, concentrate on the areas you find difficult and take things at a pace that suits you.
Before your training, I’ll send you a short questionnaire so I can understand your experience and what you’d like to achieve. This helps us make the best use of our time together.
Which Course Should I Choose?
If you’re new to Lightroom and Photoshop and want to learn the basics, the half-day course provides a focused introduction to editing.
If you already understand the basics and want more time to develop your skills, the full-day course allows us to explore Lightroom and Photoshop in greater depth.
For photographers who want more comprehensive editing training, the Advanced two-day course gives us additional time to work through more advanced techniques and develop your editing skills further.

Half-day Adobe training at my studio – £150
Full-day Adobe training at my studio – £200
Advanced two-day Adobe training at my studio – £400
A questionnaire will be provided before your training so we can make the most of our time together.
Follow-up questions and support are also available after your training if you need help putting what you’ve learned into practice.
Gift Vouchers
An Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop course can make a thoughtful birthday or Christmas gift.
